High Performance Servers

The HPCCC operates high performance servers for the CSIRO High Performance Scientific Computing (HPSC) group, which is co-located with the HPCCC. The primary high performance systems include an SGI Altix 3000 and two IBM eServer 1350 Clusters.

CSIRO scientists are the main users of these systems; however a number of collaborative projects are underway with the Bureau of Meteorology and other Australian government departments. Information for obtaining user accounts on these systems can be obtained through the HPCCC.
